The second group of Parkhill childen read their stories to Class O today. They had written their own versions of The Hare and the Tortoise and Snow White. In the Hare and the Tortoise story the characters had been changed to cars and the race was between a Ferrari and a Nissan! In Snow White the main characters were two sisters.

The children entered into the spirit of story telling by using props, a Ferrari car and a Tiara for the Snow White character.

Today class O met Parkhill children. They read stories to us. They were good at writing their own traditional stories.
One was called Snow White and the other one was called the Hare and the Tortoise. They changed their stories but using different characters they did it really well.

I liked the way you used cars instead of animals. I liked way you used your voice.
What made you change the story?
What made you think of cars?
